Shivajians hold Bagan goalless

PUNE: A valiant DSK Shivajians have halted Mohun Bagan's four-match winning streak, holding the visitors goalless in the I-League at the Balewadi sports complex on Tuesday .The hosts remain at sixth spot with five points while leaders Bagan have 13 points.Both sides raised the level of play for the full ninety minutes though none succeeded in finding the net. A high-pitched first half ensued as both sides stepped on the gas from kickoff. Shivajian's striker Kim Song Yong would have had his name attached to the fastest goal of the I-League had he managed to put it past the keeper in a one-on-one situation. The ball, however, sailed inches away from the far post.In the 39th minute the Korean's left footer beat the keeper but rebounded off the far post.
